North Rift Circuit
The mostly Remote and sometimes hard-to-reach attractions of the north rift circuit are for the adventurous and for those seeking to explore Kenya at its most rugged. But they also appeal to visitors who are drawn by the areas lakes, Hot springs and bird sanctuaries
3 Days Lake Bogoria –Lake Baringo
Day 1:Depart from Nairobi/Nakuru to lake Bogoria at 1000hrs.lunch en route. Spend the afternoon game viewing and late evening visit the geysers.Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 2:Depart from lake Baringo and arrive at mid-day. You will see different species of birds . in the afternoon you can take a boat ride to the island .Dinner and overnight stay at the accommodation of choice.
Day 3: Visit the snake park and see different species of snake.Depart for Nairobi/Nakuru,
8 Day Turkana Via Chelbi desert
Day 1- Samburu
Depart Nairobi in the morning heading north via the shoulder of Africas Second highest mountain,Mt kenya to the Samburu game reserve.Accomodation at either lodge or campsite at the reserve.
The day is spent game viewing and relaxing
Day 3- Marsabit
We head north again along trans-African highway to marsabit an astonishing cool green and hilly oasis rising above the dry heat of the surroundings deserts lands. The local Rendille and Samburu people in the bright red outfits, beads and earring make it a vibrant place. Accomodation in the lodge inside the park
Depart after an early breakfast through scenic landscape of the arid north with the views of picturesque hills. Arrive and camp at kalacha a small gabbra settlement on the edge of chalbi desert .
Day 4-Lake Turkana
Depert early crossing chalbi desert to lake Turkana, which is the largest dersert lake in the world and extends 288 Km up to the Ethiopian/Kenyan border. Arrive at semi-Permarnent beach village and spend at traditionalTrukana huts.
Day 6-Lake Turkana
The day is spent relaxing
Day 7- Maralal
Journey via horr valley situated between mountain Nyiro and Ol doinya Mara viewing Breath-taking Scenery. Spend night at maralal.
Heading south again via Laikipia plains and Nyahururu stop at Thompson’s falls for lunch. After lunch drive back into Nairobi/Nakuru by mid afternoon
